In 1998, Windy City Electric broke global productivity
records on the Deep Tunnel Project. The length of tunnel
dug per day and the length of tunnel dug per shift were
two areas that surpassed all current records during this
assignment. The tunnel is eight miles in length,
twenty-five feet in diameter, and two hundred feet below
the surface. Our hard working, cutting edge electricians
aided Kenny/Keiwit/Shea in a project that has made Chicago
history.
